A portrait of VanDervoort Hardware's sponsored softball team in a stadium, in 1937. This may have been taken at Soldier Field in Chicago when the team went to represent Michigan in the world championships that year. The photograph was taken by a Chicago photographer. At left is coach Lad Slingerland, and at right is bat boy Jack Ryan. The team members are not identified.
