Detroit Edison Building

Description:
The Rochester Light & Power Company was incorporated in 1899 and operated until it was absorbed by Detroit Edison in 1909. That same year, Edison constructed this building on the southeast corner of South Main Street and Third Street to operate their business. Addressed to Miss Fay Sipperley of Niagara Falls, New York from Hattie and Gill. (RRP-24) Ray Russell Postcard Collection
