Music; Jazz. Curtis Fuller (trombone) & Pepper Adams

Description:
PJazz musicians Pepper Adams (baritone saxophone) and Curtis Fuller (trombone) play together. "Pepper Adams (born Park Adams III on October 8, 1930 in Highland Park, Michigan - died on September 10, 1986 in Brooklyn, New York) was one of hard bop's most significant baritone saxophonists, his dark, hearty tone on the horn and driving rhythmic sense provided the antithesis to the lighter, floating (and consequently more popular) styles of Gerry Mulligan," from All About Jazz website. "Fuller, who grew up in Detroit, went to school with Paul Chambers and Donald Byrd, and while at Wayne State University, he was roommates with another jazz legend, tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson, in the Army, he played in a military band under the direction of Cannonball Adderley, right after moving to New York and recording Blue Train, he hooked up with Lester Young; Fuller recently found out about a live recording of the two performing at Birdland," from Denver Music article by Jon Solomon.
