- Coarse buff clay, unglaze. Lamp is roughly triangular shaped with wick hole in top of pointed end. Double convex body with sharp angle between two halves. Raised lines form vine or tendril pattern on broad rim. Large filling hole is surrounded by two raised lines, outer of which is carried down nozzle and about wick hole. Raised line down center of channel thus formed on neck. Broken knob like handle raised from top opposite nozzle end. Raised base ring within which are five raised lines. Slightly blackened at wick hole.
