- Universal Steamship Company consignee memo for an order from Valentin Blatz Brewing Company shipped from Milwaukee to the E.J. Dossin Company in Detroit, dated July 26, 1923. The document lists the shipment as 263 packages of malt syrup and hops. Handwritten tallies and notes have been made on both sides of the document.

- 1921 catalog of Laurel Stoves, Ranges and Furnaces from the Art Stove Company bound in a stiff gray, blue and gold cardboard cover. The front cover reads: "Laurel; The Art Stove Company; Detroit - Chicago." The back cover has text on it that reads "We manufacture under the Laurel trade mark a complete line of cast iron and steel ranges, combination coal and gas ranges, gas ranges, hard coal, soft coal, and wood heaters; warm air furnaces, pipeless furnaces that are known from coast to coast as the world's greatest fuel savers. We shall be glad to mail upon request Special Gas Appliances and Furnace catalogs." Printing of the catalog is attributed to Saturday Night Press, Inc. of Detroit. Contained within it are prices, images, measurements and advertising information for Laurel Stoves, Ranges, and Furnaces, as well as accessories for them, from 1921.

- Handwritten letter from the Huron Woolen Manufacturing Co. of Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Theodore H. Eaton & Son, dated July 21, 1870. The paper is slightly yellowed with faint blue lines and is printed with the Huron Woolen Manufacturing Company letterhead.

- One empty envelope addressed to "Miss Madge C. Maybury, Tampa, Fla." in handwritten black ink. It has a return address stamped in black ink in the upper left corner that shows "J. F. Weber & Co., 300 Gratiot Avenue, Detroit, Mich." The postmark is dated April 6, 1892. The back of the envelope shows printed information for "J. F. Weber & Co., Lumber and Real Estate."

- One business card. The card is printed in black ink on heavy white paper and shows an engraved drawing of the storefront at "132 & 134 Woodward Avenue, Russell House Block, Detroit, Mich." The names of the proprietors, "George M. Wheeler" and "Ellery I. Garfield," are shown in the upper corners. This card was contained in the lead box time capsule that was removed from the Old City Hall on May 25, 1961.

- Description:
- One indenture, dated March 5, 1919, between Elise Babillion, Marie Babillion, and Gertrude Warren, parties of the first part, and the Woodhouse Land Company, party of the second part. The document consists of one sheet of white paper with black typewritten and handwritten text printed on both sides that is watermarked "Monmouth Linen Ledger." The text gives a legal description of Lot 51, Section 3 of the Governor and Judges Plan, Detroit, and indicated that the lot was being sold to the Woodhouse Land Company for $1.00. The document was signed on the verso by Elise Babillion, Marie Babillion, and Gertrude Warren as well as signed and sealed by a Notary Public. Three $10 U.S. Internal Revenue tax stamps were affixed to the verso. The document was recorded at the Register's Office, Wayne County, in Liber 1251, Page 464 on May 16, 1919.

- One bill of sale from Tuttle & Clark in the amount of $1.50 for harness goods sold to Matthew Calvin of Hollidaysburgh, Pennsylvania, dated July 14, 1900. The bill is printed in blue and red text on yellowed paper and is stamped, "PAID," in red ink. Purchased items are handwritten in black ink.

- Description:
- Pocket-sized ledger book recording transactions made in 1898 and 1899. The transactions appear to be of a personal nature including lunch and travel expenses. The J.L. Hudson Company appears frequently as well. The ledger also records several events, including the death of Daniel Scotten on March 3, 1899. Records begin at both the beginning and end of the book, with many of the pages in between left unused. The ledge is bound in an unmarked reddish brown leather cover.

- One receipt, dated January 15, 1868, issued by the "Treasurer's Office, Detroit & Howell R.R.Co." It was printed in black text on white paper and indicated that Richmond & Backus Company paid $25 for an assessment on five shares which they owned in the railroad company. The receipt, No. 88, was signed by the company treasurer. A two-cent U.S. Internal Revenue stamp has been affixed to the left side of the receipt and has a blue ink stamp dated "Jan. 16, 1868." The stamp features a red and white engraved design with a bust of George Washington at the center.

- Sealed yellow Gardner, Ferry, and Church envelope printed with an engraving of a robed woman holding a sickle in one hand and plants in the other at the upper left, addressed to Mef C. and E. King of Ypsilanti, Michigan. The address for Gardner, Ferry, and Church is 189 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. The envelope is postmarked March 9 with a 3 cent Washington stamp.
