- One map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated - A Descriptive Map and Guide." The map is printed in black, blue, and green ink on white paper and shows a plan view of the island. Roads, lakes, canals, and wooded areas are shown along with the locations of park amenities and various sites of interest. Seventeen small black and white pictures of the island and shown along the top and bottom edges and printed text in the lower right corner gives some history of the island. Several company advertisements are shown on the verso. The map was prepared at a scale of 1 inch = 720 feet by the "Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Ave., cor. Farmer St., Detroit" and is dated 1895. Separated is the accompanying soft-cover of the map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated. A Descriptive Map and Guide Published By Silas Farmer & Co. Detroit." compliments of Union Trust Company.

- Description:
- Abstract of Title prepared by the Guaranty and Abstract Department of the Union Trust Company concerning "Fyfe, Barbour and Warren's Subdivision of that Part of Private Claim 260 Lying between Horatio Street and Warren Avenue." The proposed subdivision is bounded by Horatio Street on the south, Campbell Avenue on the west, Warren Avenue on the north, and 32nd Street on the east. The document package consists of 20 pages of printed text which trace the chain of land ownership from Elijah Brush who recorded a claim at the Land Office in Detroit in 1808. The abstract traces the property ownership through the 1800's to various persons including the heirs of Elijah Brush. The property was sold in 1896 by the trustees of the estate of Edmund A. Brush for $24,000 to Richard H. Fyfe. A map of the proposed subdivision is included. The pages are bound at the top with a green ribbon.
