Stone veneer on first story. Full width front porch with hipped roof, and natural wood supports, balustrade, and railing. Lattice under porch. Entry door probably original: multipaned transom with sidelights over wood panels. One and a half story addition to rear. Two car, flat roofed, wood garage at rear.

- North and west facades taken facing southeast; Two story, cross gabled, Queen Anne style house. Fishscale shingles in two front facing gables. Sleeping porch over entry door with wood balustrade and spindlework. Rectangular bays on east, north, and west facades with fishscale shingles and shed roofs. Six large windows on east, west, and north facades. These windows are one large pane with a smaller, rectangular pane above outlined with stained glass. Stairs at rear to upper apartment. Open porch off back addition with square supports and solid balustrade above. Stone foundation. Modern, three car garage at rear. Two concrete hitching posts in front of house near street.

- South and east facades. Facing northwest.; Greek Revival gable front and wing structure. Gable front is two stories with return cornice. Wing has a center door on the front (east) facade - 6 over 6 windows on either side. Eliptical molding trims the eave line of the full front porch which is supported by four square columns. Garage - southwest of the house. A picket fence sits on part of the east, south, and west perimeter of the property. Originally the Hoyt-Sumner School; remodeled, both inside and out, after moved by Henry Ford in 1943. Belfry of the original Hoyt school was not replaced, three windows were added,and the interior of the school was restored. In 1947 the Parsons family hired an architect to remodel it into a residence, compromising its integrity as a school; front entrance closed, a side porch added, & two-story four room rear winq added.

- North and west facades. Facing southwest.; This one story gable front Craftsman bungalow has a slight overhang on the roof line. The offset front porch has a gable roof with wooden supports and simple wooden railing. There is a wing on the rear. Detached one car garage.

- South and east facades. Facing Northwest.; This one story brick commercial building sits on a stone foundation. A flat roof slants toward the rear of the structure. According to an old picture, there was a bracketed cornice topped by a large pediment with cut-out arch design. Presently the cornice line is stepped with a cement cap across the top.There is a multipatterned brick design above ribbon windows on the front facade. A raised floral quoin is found at the top level of the windows. Large plate glass windows flank double recessed front doors.

- South and east facades. Facing northwest.; This two- story end gabled Craftsman bungalow has a full front porch with double supports and a simple balustrade.Brackets support the overhang roof. The large gable front dormer is bracketed and has a door with side lights leading to a small balcony with railing. Shingles cover the dormer and second story, while clapboard covers the first level and porch. Detached garage.

- South and west facades. Facing northeast.; This two story gable front Greek Revival house has shingle siding with evidence of return cornices. There is a one story addition in the rear, and a full front porch attached to a wing on the north facade. The house sits on a cement block foundation.

- North and west facades. Facing southeast.; This two story Eclectic house has a sloped-roof vestibule entry with round arched door, loosely based on its English Tudor predecessor. A cement porch with cast iron railing fronts the house by the entry. There is a hipped dormer on the front roofline, a wall dormer on the west facade, and bay window on the front. A one story wing attaches to the rear. Cement foundation. Detached garage. Aluminum siding.

Windows are eight lights over eight with louvered shutters. Center entry door with hood roof. Cement stoop with wrought iron railings. Clapboard siding.
