- Black and white panoramic group portrait of members of the Detroit Curling Club posed on the ice along the shore of Lake St. Clair in Grosse Pointe, taken during a curling event held by Horace Elgin Dodge on January 15, 1916. Forty men stand in the foreground, most holding curling brooms. Several curling stones are scattered among their feet. Many of the men wear Scottish tams. Horace Dodge's yacht, the NOKOMIS, is visible in the background on the right, beneath a cover for the winter. "Detroit Curling Club Guests of H.E. Dodge - Grosse Pt. Jan. 15th 1916," is printed along the bottom of the image. "Photo by Hal Wilson, 650 Mt. Elliott, Detroit," is printed in the lower right corner. The photo was previously framed with each subject numbered from 1 to 40 on the glass, going from the left to the right, however no key was included.
