- Photograph of Rose Netzorg Kerr holding a baby. Caption on back of photo identifies baby as Andragail. Kerr received her degree in education from Western State Normal School in 1910 and served as Head of the Art Department, Western State Normal School from 1912-1922.

- Western State Normal School on Normal Hill (earlier Prospect Hill) from the northeast. View features the Administration Building with the Gymnasium and Training School additions (East Hall) as well as the trolley car. In the foreground are tennis courts. The Administration Building was completed in 1905. Both additions were completed by 1909. The Western State Normal Railroad trolley systems was built in 1907 and operated until 1949.

- Photograph of Margaret Jane Brennan, teacher at the Paw Paw Training School. Brennan was a 1937 graduate of Western State Teachers College. She was also a professor of Home Economics at Western Michigan University from 1965 to 1979.

- Color photograph, taken November 1, 1958, of Herbert "Buck" Read and Mike Gary at fishing campsite in wooded area. Read served as head basketball coach from 1922 to 1949 and taught in the Men's Physical Education Department. Gary served at football coach at WMU from 1922 to 1945, and as athletic director and head of the men’s Physical Education Department from 1949 to 1967.

- Robert Limpus and Frederick Rogers standing in front of books, possibly the departmental library at Western Michigan College. Limpus became a member of the English faculty in 1947 and was appointed head of Basic Studies in 1956. He became Dean of General Studies in 1965 and retired in 1970. Rogers became a member of the English faculty in 1946 and was chair of the Department in 1956 until his retirement in 1971.

- Photograph featuring a student walking up an outdoor stairway in front of Administration building on East Campus of Western Michigan University. The 150-step stairway was one of two ways for students and faculty to reached the buildings on top of Prospect Hill when the Western Trolley opened in 1908.
