- Color postcard depicting Woodward Avenue from Jefferson Avenue, facing north. In the background is the Pontchartrain Hotel. Signs read "Queen Anne Soap", "Hotel Wilson", "Hats, Shirts", "Sanitol", and "Avenue Theatre, Vaudeville Extravaganza". Printed on verso: Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Mich. Woodward Avenue enjoys the unusual distinction of being both Detroit's leading business and residence street. It is named in honor of Judge Woodward, one of Detroit's foremost citizens in the pioneer days, and stretches approximately north and south. At its foot are the ferry docks where boats leave regularly for Windsor, Ont., Belle Isle and Bois Blanc Island. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 18, 1913.

- Color postcard depicting a view along Broadway Street, facing southeast towards the intersection of Monroe and Randolph Streets. In view are the Hotel Ste. Claire, Breitmeyer Building, and a moonlight tower. Signs read "Murray's Millinery", "Consumers Clothing Company", "The Salamander", and "Mathias Steyskal Saloon and Restaurant". Printed on verso: Broadway was several years ago a street of boarding houses. In the expansion of the city's retail district it suddenly sprang into notice as a retail district, and is now one of the principal business streets. It connects Pingree Square with Grand Circus park and is asphalted for its complete length. The Breitmeyer building shows on the left and the Hotel Ste. Claire in the distance. Printed on verso: Floral Clock and Driveway, Water Works Park. The 72-acre plot of ground on Jefferson Avenue, owned by the city and partially occupied by its waterworks pumping station, has been made one of Detroit's beauty spots. The water supply is pumped through a long tunnel from Lake St. Clair to the distributing point. The Park is noted for its big floral clock and the memorial at the entrance. The grizzly, polar and black bears have their appropriate pits. The enclosures are constantly thronged with visitors watching the playful antics of the bears in the water.
