- One postcard with a sepia-toned photographic image of the Grand Circus Park area of downtown Detroit. The postcard shows an elevated view of Grand Circus Park as seen from the Y.M.C.A. Building. Prominent buildings are visible in the background and are identified in small white printed text along the bottom of the postcard. These include the Whitney Building, Hotel Statler, Hotel Tuller, and the Kresge Building. Additional small white printed text in the lower right corner of the card reads "© '14 by C. R. Messinger." A black ink stamp on the verso shows a postmark of "Sep. 3, 1914."

- Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned photograph of the building containing Sarah Jane Allen's hair dressing shop and Richard Webber Allen's real estate business at 219 Woodward Avenue between Grand River and Clifford Street as taken from the east side of the street, facing northwest. A sign reading "Allen 1891," is incorporated into the building's brickwork below its cornice. Several pedestrians are on the sidewalk. A pharmacy, music store, restaurant, and a tobacconist are visible in adjacent storefronts. "Mrs. R.W. Allen's Hair Shop," is handwritten on the verso.

- Sepia-toned photographic print with a black margin on its left edge printed with "Kresge Bldg. 1-20-15." The photo was taken from an elevated position possibly from the David Whitney Building facing northeast. The upper floors of the Kresge Building are in the center of the frame. The Hotel Fuller is in the foreground at the lower left. The Hotel Charlevoix is right of the Kresge Building. Beyond smaller buildings are visible all the way to the horizon.

The visible businesses along this row include John Harvey, Drugs and Medicine; D.M. Ferry and Company; William C. House and Company; Pixley and Cleveland, Mattresses, Bedding, and Furniture; a sewing machine store; a book binder; Freedman and Brothers; and the Weber Furniture Company's Warehouse. A horse-drawn wagon and carriage are stopped along the sidewalk. "1870's" handwritten on verso, along with "M-1847-6" in pen and "Dept. Report & Info. Comm." stamped.

- Print containing three engravings, taken from the booklet, Souvenir of Detroit & Exposition, depicting sites in downtown Detroit. The top is captioned "Jefferson Avenue south from Woodward." A streetcar, perpendicular to the tracks is in the center of the road. "James Nall, Carpets" is printed on a building on right side of the street. Set into this image is one of the Chamber of Congress within a frame drawn to resemble a piece of paper hung with nails. The bottom image is captioned, "Griswold Street from Jefferson Avenue." The Campau Block on the west side of Griswold and the Newberry and McMillan Building on the east side are both labeled. A moonlight tower and the spire of City Hall are both visible in the background. Pedestrians and horse-drawn carriages are in the street.

- Black and white photo taken of Campus Martius and Cadillac Square from an elevated position on City Hall, facing west. The Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument stands in the center of the frame. Along the north side of Cadillac Square are the Second Williams Block topped with a Walker and Company sign for Goodrich Tires, Stilwill's Cafe, a candy store, the Burns Hotel, and other signs advertising Diamond Tires and Altes Lager. The Pontchartrain Hotel stands on the south side of Cadillac Square. To the west at the far end of Cadillac Square is the Wayne County Building. Three streetcars pass in the foreground, pedestrians mill about, and cars are parked in front of the Pontchartrain Hotel. "Cadillac Sq. 1914," is printed in the lower left.

- Black and white photo of the exterior of the Detroit Edison Company office on the southeast corner of Washington Boulevard and State Street, as taken from an elevated position to the northwest. A large flag is flown from the building's roof. An Albert A. Albrecht Company, Builders sign is posted on a construction canopy over the sidewalk along the office's State Street face. Signs for shoe repair and jewelry stores are posted on the Sun Building, beside Detroit Edison along State. The edge of the Cadillac Hotel, to the south of Detroit Edison along Washington, is visible along the right edge of frame. Cars, pedestrians, and streetcar rails are visible in the streets below. "General Office - Detroit Edison War Flag Raising," and "M-5237 4-6-17." are printed along the bottom edge of the image.
