- Color postcard depicting the Hazen S. Pingree Monument in Grand Circus Park. Printed on verso: The Pingree Monument in West Grand Circus Park, was erected in 1904 by popular subscription. The late Hazen S. Pingree was four times Mayor of Detroit, and twice Governor of Michigan. He died June 18th, 1901, aged 60 years. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 14, 1913.

Half of it was donated by John P. Clark in 1890 and the balance purchased by the city. It comprises 23 acres and it one of the many beautiful parks in the city. Band concerts are given at regular intervals during the summer season. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul, 1910.
