- Note and envelope address to Emily H. Dickinson of 665 Grand River Avenue, postmarked January 26, 1893. The envelope was posted with a red 2¢ George Washington stamp. The note reads: Mrs. Jno. McCarroll at home, Friday, Jan. 28 from 3 to 5. A farewell to Mrs. H.D. Robinson, 220 Lafayette Ave.

- Photograph. A mounted sepia-toned gelatin silver print of a float on an unidentified street that was part of the Floral Parade celebrating Detroit's bicentennial, held July 26, 1901. The float is mounted on streetcar trucks and decorated to depict a scene from Detroit's history. An illuminated sign at the right end of the float notes "Bloody Run." A bridge sits at the center of the float. On one side are five men in stereotypical Native American costumes; on the other are three men in stereotypical British colonial military costumes. Visible on the far right is a sign that reads "Wayne's Army in Possession." A police officer stands to the right of the float. In the background are onlookers and houses.

- One map entitled "Map of St. Clair Flats, Michigan" that was "surveyed and drawn by Wm. C. Sauer, C.E. [Civil Engineer], 1897." The map is shown at a scale of 1:25,000 and is printed in black ink on white paper. Land areas are colored white and pale yellow. Water areas are colored pale green. The map provides a simple depiction of the islands, bays, and channels in the St. Clair Flats region at the lower end of the St. Clair River. Principal named islands include "Herson [Harsen's] and Stromness [Dickinson] Islands. Named channels include the Snibora, North, Middle, South, and Ship Channels. Small printed text along the South Channel shows the names of principal landowners and establishments such as the Old Club, Star Island Hotel, St. Clair Island Hotel, Joe Bedore's, and Muir's. A small inset map on the left side shows the St. Clair Flats and vicinity. Printed text in the lower right corner shows "Wm. C. Sauer, Civil Engineer and Map Publisher, 318 Fort St. West, Detroit, Mich." and "Copyright W.C. Sauer, 1897."

Drawing "n" shows a front elevation view of the back of the bar and a plan view of the ceiling over the bar that is being proposed in drawing "m." This drawing was "Designed by H. H. Edelman - Industrial Designer - Chicago for Union Restaurant Equip. Co., Detroit." The drawing is shown at a scale of 3/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated February 19, 1944. Drawing "o" shows front elevation and cross-section views of a proposed overhead sign for the "Colonnade Cafeteria" on the ground floor of the Farwell Building. The title block in the lower right corner of the sheet shows that the plan was prepared by "Walker & Co., Detroit, Mich.," and has a most recent revision date of June 11, 1959. An adjacent black ink stamp shows that the plan was approved by the "City of Detroit, Dept. of Buildings & Safety Engineering" on June 15, 1959. Drawing "p" shows proposed alterations to the rear doors of the Farwell Building. The drawing is shown at a scales 1 inch = 1 foot and 3 inches = 1 foot and is undated. Drawing "q" shows proposed telephone cable rearrangements in the basement of the Farwell Building. The drawing is dated June 18, 1929. Drawing "r" shows proposed alterations to the fire escape stairway on the Farwell Building. The plan was prepared by "F. A. Chapper Iron Works, 693 E. Congress St., Detroit 26, Mich." and is dated July 10, 1945. The sheet is stamped with an embossed seal that shows "State of Michigan - Registered Structural Engineer, Frank E. Chapper, Structural Engineer No. 794." A black ink stamp shows that the plan was approved by the "Dept. of Buildings & Safety Engineering" on July 26, 1945. Drawing "s" is a sepia print that shows the floor plan of the Colonnade Cafeteria in the Farwell Building. The plan includes the complete layout of the kitchen, store room, snack bar, and dining areas. It was prepared at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot and was dated October 2, 1958.
