- Monochromatic postcard depicting the Hotel Pontchartrain from the corner of Woodward Avenue and Cadillac Square, with a streetcar in the foreground. Printed on verso: The Hotel Pontchartrain, Detroit's latest and best hotel, is beautifully situated on the Campus. It is ten stories high with three stories underground. This hotel was opened to the public in October 1907 and is strictly fireproof. It is a marvel of convenience, the underground portion being the most important for the comfort of the guests. Over four million pounds of steel were used in its construction. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug, 1910.

- One plan sheet entitled, "Lines," for the fishing trawler, Spray (Hull No. 85). The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows plan, profile, and cross-section views of the hull lines for the proposed trawler. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building Co." at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. The plan number is shown as "5131."

- Sepia-toned photograph taken to document the effort to set a new record time for boat construction through the manufacture of Eagle Boat No. 59, within building "B" of the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex, as viewed from above the boat's port bow. Workers on scaffolds rivet the hull's plates, while men on top of the framing appear ready to install decking. The time of photo is 3:00 pm.
