- One navigational chart entitled, "Manitou Passage, Lake Michigan." The chart was "Prepared from U. S. Surveys and first issued under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1902." It was later revised and "published under the direction of Lieut. Colonel Mason M. Patrick, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1915." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:30,000 and covers about 20 miles of the Manitou Passage just north of Glen Arbor, Michigan. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, shoreline details, lighthouses, lines of latitude and longitude, and sailing directions. The chart was printed in black ink on white paper and was published by the U. S. Lake Survey Office. Land areas are colored pale yellow and shallow areas of the lake are colored light blue. The chart was "Issued January 12, 1916" with "Aids to navigation corrected from information received to April 16, 1920."

- Photograph. Sepia-toned gelatin silver photo of a parade float that was part of the Detroit Bi-Centenary Parade. The float is mounted on streetcar truck and decorated with a rowboat that is carrying Cadillac, a priest, and three of his crew as they approach the shore. Two men, dressed as Indians, are standing at the shoreline. A sign at the right end of the float notes "Landing of Cadillac 1701." The parade is moving along a residential street and three wood-frame houses can be seen in the background, but the street name is not known. Several spectators can also be seen in the background. Handwriting on the verso notes "Landing of Cadillac, 1701."

- Half-folded invitation card to the 1907 Fall Opening of the Newcomb-Endicott Company on October 2 and 3. The card's cover features the Newcomb-Endicott crest atop a pair of red leaves in the top right corner against a beige background. A half-folded leaf of lightweight paper, bound within by white cord, is printed with the crest and the message, "The favor of your presence is requested at our Fall Opening Wednesday and Thursday October Second and Third Nineteen Hundred and Seven Exhibiting Latest Importations in Gowns, Millinery and Wraps, Foreign Silks and Dress Fabrics. Newcomb-Endicott Company, Detroit."

- Magazine article that has been torn out from "Labor Day Review," pages 23-32. The article is entitled "The Council of Trades and Labor Unions and the Labor Movement of Detroit. By David A. Boyd, Statistician." The magazine text and advertisements are printed in black ink on slightly yellowed paper. Page 31 includes a list of presidents, secretaries, and delegates of the Detroit Council of Trades and Labor Unions from 1880 to 1900. Presumably, all of the business advertisers are supportive of the trade unions and labor movement. Several of the advertisements do mention "union made" or "union shop."

- Typewritten letter from Foote, Pierson and Company of New York to Thomas E. Clark, the general manager of Electric Service and Appliance Company, dated May 10, 1902. It contains a brief message asking when Clark would be able to go to Washington. It is printed on Foote, Pierson and Company letterhead. An illegible signature or set of initials is just below the closing.
