- Notes:
- The Ives & Volkers service station was located at 770 Lafayette NE in the Belknap/Lookout neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The gas station operated from 1929 until 1953, when it became John and Leo's. By 1964, the name was changed to Leo and Ed' and it remained a fixture in the Grand Rapids automobile repair scene for over 40 years.

- The Robert Smith Motor Co. at 106-116 Commerce S.W., Grand Rapids. Signage reads “Dodge Job-Rated Trucks” and “Use Mopar, Chrysler Corporation.” Building on the left was formerly the Coliseum. Now currently houses the Heart of West Michigan United Way.

Also visible is the Van Ess and Schreuder, Feed and building materials, at 1201-1203 Walker NW. The sign on the sign reads "Flour, Feed, Hay, Straw, Cement, Etc." The Walker St. Pharmacy is visible next door.

Photo shows the Sunoco gas station at the corner of Lake Drive & Wealthy and Allen's Laundry at 1556 Wealthy St SE in the Eastown neighborhood, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Sunoco site is currently the home of a Subway Sandwiches and Salads restaurant (1540 Wealthy SE). The laundry building has been razed, but the building next to it currently houses Gino's Pizza (1556 Wealthy SE) and George Katsoris Shoe Repair (1558 Wealthy SE).
