- Liberty Bell Parade at Campau Square in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Liberty Bell replica rang out on May 25, 1950 to signify the opening of the local Independence Savings Bonds drive of the Treasury Department. The ceremony was held in front of the McKay Towers building. Speakers included Jack Benny, Eddie "Rochester" Andersonfrom the Jack Benny show as well as local dignitaries. Veterans and civic groups also particiapted in the event. This photo was taken at Campau Square in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
