- Portrait of Colonel John Chadsey Frank, Sr. (1799-1877). He was born in Vermont and had a farm on the north side of Hamlin Road in Avon Township. Colonel Frank was married to Arabella Chipman (1805-1846) and Adeline Kettell (1798-1886). His children include Mary A. Frank (Beckett), John Chadsey Frank, Jr., Edwin Rufus Frank, Arabella O. - Description:
- Gladys Collins, Clarence Kremer's wife, neighbor Will Fox, and Eliza Jane Kremer, wife of Frank Kremer, "play horse" outside of the Kremer's carriage shop. The occasion is a Ladies' Aide meeting at the Kremer's home. Frank was a buggy, wagon, and carriage maker. He made the underpart of the buggies downstairs and Eliza Jane upholstered the tops upstairs, then they were lowered down and assembled. - The Brooklands School, also referred to as Avon Township School District #3, was built in 1927-1928 and replaced a nearby wooden schoolhouse at 480 East Auburn Road, commonly called the Frank School. The Frank School was used until 1926 when students were transferred to Brooklands School which was one-quarter mile west on the opposite side of the street.
