- Trade card from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges. A lithograph, attributed to "Chas. Shields Sons 20 & 22 Gold St N.Y," depicts a man in wealthy gentleman's clothing, holding a long-barreled gun, looking quizzically down at a dead pig while the pig's owner, a farmer holding a pitchfork, points his hand down at the pig and angrily says something to the gentleman. On the verso is an early Garland Stoves and Ranges logo with a stamp below it that reads "Sold by Toepel Bros, 180 Gratiot Ave".

- Trade card from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges. A lithograph on the recto, credited to Hughes Lithograph Company of Chicago, depicts a dog, a fox terrier, in the middle of a lush forest. A stump with a Garland Stoves and Ranges logo attached to it is depicted next to the dog. Text reading "Garland Dog (Fox Terrier) On Display at the Chicago House" is found on the bottom of the recto. An advertisement for the "Horizontal Oak-Garland" model wood burning stove, alongside an image of a Horizontal Oak-Garland stove, is on the verso.

A lithograph on the recto depicts a child in a bonnet standing on top of their bed while holding a pan-shaped bed warmer. Written in French at the bottom of the card is "Je Vais Me Bassiner Moi-Meme," which translates to "I Will Bathe Me Myself" in English.

Text on the verso gives the store's address as 141, 143, and 145 Woodward Avenue, and promotes the store's selection, and prices, and encourages out-of-towners visiting Detroit to come to the store.

- J.L. Hudson trade card advertising the company's move from the Detroit Opera House building, to their new location at 141, 143, and 145 Woodward Avenue. The recto is printed with an image of a woman in a white gown with orange dots, a girdle belt, and an armlet arranging flowers in a vase atop a pedestal. "J.L. Hudson, Clothier, Detroit Opera House Building," is printed along the top. The verso is printed with the text, "On or about April 1st we will remove to our new stores, 141, 143 &145 Woodward Ave. where we shall be pleased to receive our Friends and Customers. J.L. Hudson." "Selma Beer," is handwritten on the verso.

- 1894 "Ladies Perfumed Calendar, compliments of E.W. Hoyt & Co., Lowell, Mass. Proprietors of Hoyt's German Cologne, Rubifoam for the Teeth." The recto bears a color image of a small girl in a pink dress holding a basket of flowers as two doves roost on her. Calendars for January through December 1894 are printed on the verso as well as an advertisement for Hoyt's German Cologne which cautions against "the numerous trashy Colognes that usurp its name and style of bottle." Prices are listed at 25 cents for a trial size, 50 cents for medium size, and one dollar for a large bottle. "For sale by J.C. Harper, - - Milan, Mich., Dealer In Drugs, Patent Medicines, Chemicals, Fancy and Toilet Articles, Brushes, Perfumery, etc." is printed at the bottom of one copy. "For sale by Lynch & Schwimm, Wellington, Kan., Dealers in Drugs, Patent Medicines, Chemicals, Fancy and Toilet Articles, Brushes, Perfumery, etc." is printed at the bottom of the other.
