- One ticket envelope. The envelope is printed in black ink on tan paper. It advertises the "Michigan Central & Great Western Railways" and its "Great Central Route via Niagara Falls Between the East and West." The envelope was signed by "W. P. Rand" for "Frank E. Snow, West. Pass. Agent, Detroit." This envelope was contained in the lead box time capsule that was removed from the Old City Hall on May 25, 1961.

It has a red 3-cent George Washington stamp and is postmarked "Detroit, Mich., May 19," however the year is not indicated. The back side of envelope shows an engraving of Duncan's Central Brewery, Detroit, along with black text. Langdon & Co. is shown adjacent to the brewery in the engraving.
