- West side of South Main Street. The two-story brick building directly behind the tree is the Harvey J. Taylor hardware store, later known as Case Hardware. To the right is the O.H. Neff Building, which was used as a grocery store and pool hall before it was demolished to make way for the First National Bank Building in 1924. The original building, facing Fourth Street, was built in 1899 and is commonly known as Avon School District #5 School House, the Old Rochester High School building, or Harrison building.
