Printed on verso: Hotel Pontchartrain, Detroit, Michigan. The Hotel Pontchartrain. Detroit's largest and best hotel, is beautifully situated on the Campus. It is fifteen stories high with three stories underground. This hotel was opened to the public in October 1907 and is strictly fireproof. It is a marvel of convenience, the underground portion being the most important for the comfort of the guests. Over five million pounds of steel were used in its construction. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jun 9, 1913.

Printed on verso: The Hotel Normandie, on East Congress Street is one of the older hotels of the city and has been in use for hospitable purposes for over 40 years. It was extensively remodeled in 1888 and is modern in every respect. It contains 125 rooms. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 6, 1910.

- Color postcard depicting the Cadillac Hotel from the corner of Washington Boulevard and Michigan Avenue. Pedestrians streetcars, automobiles, and horse-drawn vehicles populate the street. Printed on verso: THE HOTEL CADILLAC has enjoyed the reputation of being one of the best hostelries in Michigan. It occupies the entire frontage of Michigan Avenue between Washington Boulevard and Shelby Street and contains 300 rooms with a capacity of over 600 persons. The property was constructed by the late Daniel Scotten and is still owned by the heirs of his estate.
