- One drawing entitled "Sketch of Fort Wayne Showing the Condition of its Non-Armament, June 30th, 1869, in Response to Circular from Office of the Chief of Engineer, May 25th, 1869." The drawing consists of black ink on heavy tan paper and shows a plan view of the outer walls of the fort. Not a gun is mounted, nor is there a gun carriage at the fort. 2. Note. The circular 'uses high or low traverse stones' - 'High and low' as here used, are somewhat indefinite for 'exact' comprehension. I have therefore given the difference of level between the upper surface of the iron circle on the pintle block and the iron circle on the traverse stones. Now if this does not give the information desired as to the whether traverse stones are high or low, then I respectfully request a response to the cross sections of all the platforms, which must be in the Engineer Department Office, where the 'references' will show whether the traverse stones be high or low when compared with the crest line or terre/plain, and the word, high or low, can then be put in the blanks for which it will be seen I have left room there 'Traverse stones ----- :' U. S. Engr. Office, Detroit, 15th July 1869, T. J. Cram, Col. Engrs., Bvt. Maj. Gen'l."
