- Comstock's storefront at 232 Bond Avenue NW, with Norge refrigerators, stoves, washers, and mangles shown in the window. They also carried radios and automobile supplies, such as tires and batteries. Owned by Freeman J. Comstock.

- Comstock's appliance shop, but no the same one that was at 232 Bond NW. It may be their second store that was at 4404 South Division. Norge stove and and open refrigerator, even showing the motor, in the windows and two wringer washers out in front of the store. They also advertise automobile tires and batteries sold on instant credit.

- Group photo of men and one woman dressed in cowboy hats with bandanas around their necks for a round-up-themed sale at Goodrich Silvertown Co. located at Crescent Street and Division Avenue, NE. The banner reads "Goodrich Round-up of Unsafe Tires Special! Replace worn tires with safe new Silvertowns."

- Description:
- At right is the end of the Gladmer Theatre at 233 North Washington Avenue. Moving left, in the same building, Randall's Health Foods is at 231. Continuing south, Silver Lead Paint at 229, Western Auto Supply at 225, Emery-Pratt office equipment at 223, Epicure Tea Shop at 221, MacLaughlin Music at 219, National China at 213, and Firestone Tires at 211. The block ends with the Tussing building at West Ottawa Street, home of the Palms Theatre at 209 and the College Drugstore at 201. Buildings seen to the south include the Bank of Lansing at 101 North Washington Avenue, Prudden building on South Washington and West Michigan Avenue, and the Michigan National Tower at West Allegan Street and South Capitol Avenue.
