- A delegation of German doctors, French doctors and corpsmen, and a French nurse visit the hospital at Wetzlar. They stand in front of the hospital ward while prisoner patients stand behind a barbed wire fence. Red Cross inspections became a common practice in prison camps to ensure the best possible care of POW's under the care of the belligerent powers.

- These prisoners of war are recovering from wounds or illnesses in the hospital ward at Goettingen. All of the beds have patients, but they are sitting up and appear to be on the mend. In addition, the ward appears to be well stocked with supplies and staff.

- German doctors and French and Belgian orderlies minister to patients in the hospital ward at Erfurt. Many of the patients appear to be Russian POW's, each enjoying their own metal frame bed. The facility is new and includes a stove in the center of the ward.
