- Monochromatic glass plate negative taken of the remains of the original Belle Isle Bridge after it burned on April 27, 1915, as viewed from Belle Isle to the west of the bridge, facing northeast. Two spans of the bridge remain standing on the right edge of the frame. One of the bridge's piers stands in the river on the left. Several passenger ferries, canoes, and sailboats are on the river. The Detroit Boat Club stands on the shore on the right, and the Conners Creek Electric Power Plant is under construction in the background.

- Mounted sepia-toned photographic print of a parade of canoes on one of Belle Isle's lakes. Several of the canoes on the right are tied together in a chain, wrapped in fabric, and decorated with streamers and garland. Canoeists paddle their canoes separately on the left. A figure on the on the shore in the background on the left appears to be aiding in raising or taking down a tent. Several other park-goers are visible around the banks of the lake.

- Color postcard depicting an elevated view along Central Avenue on Belle Isle at night. The street is crowded with pedestrians and horse-drawn vehicles. In the foreground is a round flowerbed. Printed on verso: Central Avenue, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich. Belle Isle Park contains about 700 acres and has cost Detroit including bridge leading to it about $2,000,000. It has beautiful lawns and Floral displays, also many miles of driveways and canals. It has a Zoo, Horticultural Building and Aquarium. Refreshments are served at both Casino and Pavillion. It was bought from the Chippewa and Ottawa Indians for eight Barrels of rum, three rolls of tobacco, six pounds of vermillion and a belt of wampum, by Lieutenant Mc Dougall in 1769. In 1879, 110 years afterward it was sold to Detroit for $200,000. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Oct 31, 1917.
