- One print entitled "Detroit and Its Water Front In 1887." The print consist of a black and white drawing that shows an elevated view of city, looking northward along Woodward Avenue just south of Jefferson Avenue. The drawing was a supplement to the Detroit Evening Journal on May 7, 1887. A separate engraved drawing along the bottom of the sheet shows a view of the waterfront with many different types of sail and steam vessels on the river. Printed text in the lower left corner shows "Photo-Electrotype Eng. Co., New York."

- One booklet entitled "Specifications for Storage and Service Stock Building, Clark Avenue - Cadillac Plant, Detroit, Michigan, General Motors Corporation." The booklet consists of 78 pages that of typewritten specifications (carbon copy) for the construction of a four story building at the Clark Avenue Cadillac automotive assembly plant in Detroit. A black ink stamp on the cover page shows "Received Nov. 5, 1919, Dupont Eng. Co., Cadillac Plant, Detroit." The booklet pages are bound with two brass fasteners at the top. Five additional pages, Bulletin Nos. 1-5, are attached at the end of the booklet with two metal paper clips.

- One open page of a newspaper showing a picture collage entitled "Views In The City of Detroit." The open page shows engraved drawings that are printed in black ink on slightly yellowed newspaper. The drawings are printed across two pages of the September 9, 1878, issue of "The Daily Graphic" newspaper of New York. The eighteen drawings show various downtown streets, businesses, churches, public buildings, and the Detroit Riverfront. A numbered index along the bottom of the page identifies all of the drawings.

- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing a 2-story brick police station building. The station (5th Precinct) was located on Trumbull Avenue near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Church Street. "Trumbull Ave." street signs are visible on the left and right corners of the building and three faces can be seen in the windows to the left of the doorway. The photo was probably taken in early spring since buds are just becoming visible on the trees in front of the station. The "Flour, Grain & Mill Feed" business of A. H. Zink can be seen on Church Street to the right of the police station as well as the adjacent harness shop of Frank Joyce. The horse-drawn delivery wagon of Malcomson Bros. Grocers is parked in front of the two previously-mentioned businesses. Michigan Avenue runs behind the police station building and short sections of the road are visible at the far left and far right sides of the photo.

The drawing shows front and end elevations views of the building as well as plan views of the three floors. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "drawn by D. R. Bell, Eng'r. Dept., Wash't., 1850." A handwritten note in the lower right corner of the sheet shows "Gift from A.S.C.E. [American Society of Civil Engineers], R. A. Briggs."
