- One "List of Articles Deposited in the Corner Stone of the New City Hall, This Sixth Day of August, 1868." The list is handwritten in black ink on one side of a folded sheet of paper. It appears that this list was kept in separate city files and was not deposited in the cornerstone box since it was not among the items that were inventoried inside object 1961.282.001.

- Bishop Edward D. Kelly lays the cornerstone of the new Butterworth hospital. A large, oblong, white stone reading “1876-1924” is set into a partially completed brick wall. The winching chain is still attached at the top of the stone and leads upward to the edge of the photo. A man in a dark suit stands in profile view to the right of the stone, looking down at it.
