- Paper poster for a picnic given by the Germania Arbeiter Society in 1906. The text of the poster is as follows: "GRAND PIC-NIC GIVEN BY THE GERMANIA ARBEITER SOCIETY, AT UNRUH'S SUMMER GARDEN, Cor. Dix, and Infantry Aves. SAT. AUG. 4, 1906. at 2 o'clock p.m. Tickets of Admission 10 Cts. Refreshments of all kinds will be served at the Garden. GOOD MUSIC IN ATTENDANCE Everybody Come." Text at the bottom indicates that the poster was printed by J.A. Behr at 1587 Fort St. W., Detroit.

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mr. John C. Garvey for a Brick Veneered and Frame Hotel Building Located on the Northeast Corner of Dix Ave. and Waterman St." The specifications (Job 241) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of light brown paper that has a cloth backing and includes handwritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Successor to Falkinburg & Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 88 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page. John C. Garvey was the proprietor of the Michigan Central Stock Yards Hotel which was located at the corner of Dix Avenue and Waterman Street in southwest Detroit.

- One architectural drawing entitled "Dix Ave. Elevation" and "Waterman St. Elevation." The drawing (Job 245) consists of red and black ink on linen and shows two elevation views and a wall cross-section detail for an existing 2-story hotel that was to be remodeled from 13 guest rooms to 21 guest rooms. The work was being done for "Mr. John C. Garvey, Owner, Detroit, Michigan." This drawing, shown at a scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot, was part of a set of seven sheets that were prepared by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." Some blue, green, and yellow pencil shading has been added on the verso to highlight various architectural details. John C. Garvey was the proprietor of the Michigan Central Stock Yards Hotel which was located at the corner of Dix Avenue and Waterman Street in southwest Detroit.
