- The Eva Gray Patrol drill team was organized in 1927 in Grand Rapids, Michigan with Libbie Cornell as captain. The group was associated with the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. Left to right in the photo are: Emma Boeskool, Isabelle Roush, Jessie Thomas, Mary Gardner, Lilian Pease, Sue McDonald, Bessie Oost, Grace Jones, Clara Marlett, Libbie Cornell, Bertha Orth, Ellen Hulsapple, Sue Laramy, Luella Howland, Margaret Buchanan, Emma Gibson, Margaret Reitberg, Ida Berryman, and Mary Taylor.
