The trucks advertise Gordon Food Service products, including Tast-T-Nuts, Rival Dog Food, Instant Nestle's Sweet Milk Cocoa, Mrs. Grass' Vegetable Noodle Soup, Durkee's Vegetable Margarine. Visible in the background is the McAuley Building's tower, part of the St. Mary's Hospital complex, as well as neighboring houses to the west, 318, 316, and to the east, a brick home at 330 State St.

- A display in one of the seven Kroger stores in Grand Rapids in 1950 of Post Cereals: Post Toasties, Sugar Crisp, Grape Nuts Flakes, and Bran Flakes. Five men are in the picture, one in a suit, likely the same man on the far left in the 125-e0831 photographs, another in a grocer's smock, and three dressed as clowns.
