- Photograph. Black and white photo showing the Detroit Edison Company headquarters building. The view looks eastward and shows the west side of the 10-story, decorative brick and stone building on Second Avenue. A small section of W. Elizabeth Street can be seen near the lower left corner of the photo. The Tuller Hotel building and its sign can be seen in the background at the far left side of the photo. The number, "M-9266," and date, "2-8-22," are written along the lower right edge of the image.

- One folio series entitled, "Detroit Illustrated," that was published in 14 parts by H. R. Page & Company of Chicago. This folio, Part Twelve, has a gray/green paper cover that is printed in brown text. There are seven interior pages which include printed text and sepia-toned photographic images that are entitled as follows: The Strassburg Terrace Grace Hospital Bingham Hoop and Thin Limber Company Residence of Capt. Wescott [Westcott?] Grand River Avenue from Second Street Leonard Block Galvin Brass and Iron Works Galvin Valve and Hydrant Works Madison Avenue from the Park.

- Booklet containing information on the 1879 Y.M.C.A. on the northeast corner of Grand River Avenue and Griswold Street. The booklet is bound in a green paper cover with a oval-shaped cut out in the center behind which is a photo of the building on the first page. Cover also has a border with a flower motif on the right and left sides. Within in the book are descriptions and photos of the association's facilities both athletic and educational, as well as information about joining. An advertisement for Gage and Fischer life insurance is on the back cover.

Many retail businesses neighbor the thoroughfare and include, from left to right, Arthur and Phildric Photographers; Hoop Skirts; Chickering Pianos and Band Instruments; Housekeepers Palace; and the J.H. Black and Company. First Presbyterians Church is visible in the background. Also, written on the verso, "Old Downtown Detroit, First Presbyterian Church, where Hudson's is now, Newcomb's to the left."
