- One navigational chart entitled, "General Chart of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes, Including New York State Canals and Lake Champlain," that was compiled and published by the U.S. Lake Survey, War Department, Corps of Engineers. The chart (No. 0) is a polyconic projection and is drawn at a scale of 1:1,200,000. It shows all of the Great Lakes region from Duluth, Minnesota, to Lake Champlain and the Hudson River in New York. General topographic details and notes are printed in black. Land areas are shaded pale yellow. Lake areas are shaded white or light blue depending upon water depth and also include contour lines for water depths in fathoms. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lines of magnetic variation are shown in red. Principal lighthouses are shown in red and yellow. Information tables are shown on the right and left sides of the chart for U. S. and Canadian canals, dry dock locations, and annual lake level fluctuations. Printed text near the center lower edge shows "Aids to Navigation Corrected from Information Received to June 20, 1916."

- One navigational chart entitled, "Preliminary Chart of Eagle Harbor, Lake Superior." The chart was "Surveyed and drawn under the direction of Capt. J. N. Macomb, Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers] by Lieut. W. F. Raynolds, Topl Engrs., Assisted by J. U. Mueller, D. F. Henry, and J. Wallace, 1855" with "Aids to navigation corrected to February 29, 1889." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:5,000 and covers about 2 miles of the shoreline along Lake Superior in the vicinity of Eagle Harbor, Michigan. The town of Eagle Harbor is shown along with an inset drawing that shows the approach to the harbor. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, lighthouses, roads, and sailing directions. The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:30,000 and covers about 50 miles along the north shore of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Baraga and Marquette Counties. The chart shows information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, shoreline details, lighthouses, lines of latitude/longitude, and sailing directions. - One chart entitled "Survey of the Mouth of Clinton River, Michigan" that was made by Capt. A. Canfield, U.S.T.E. (United States Topographical Engineers) who was assisted by J. F. Munro and J. Holcroft, Civil Engineers. The chart was drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 400 feet and is printed in black ink on white paper. It shows a simple topographical survey that covers about 4000 feet at the mouth of the Clinton River as it flows into Lake St. Clair. Survey information includes areas of rushes adjacent to the river, water depths in feet, depth contour lines, a lighthouse, and a cross-section detail. - Navigational chart entitled, "Map of the Delta of the St. Clair [River]," that was compiled by Lieutenants J. N. Macomb and W. H. Warner "under the direction of Captain W. G. Williams, U. S. Corps of Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers]." The survey work is dated 1842. The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:15,840 (four inches = 1 mile) and shows the area at the outlets of the North, Middle, and South Channels of the St. Clair River which flow into Lake St. Clair. The chart is drawn in black ink on slightly yellowed paper and shows shorelines, water depths in feet, marsh areas, navigational channels, a north arrow and magnetic north, and survey triangulation points. A small inset map in the upper left corner shows Lake St. Clair, the lower St. Clair River, and the upper Detroit River.

- One navigational chart entitled, "Lake Superior Chart No. 1" that was compiled and published as part of the Survey of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes (War Department, Corps of Engineers). It was "projected from a Trigonometrical Survey" that was executed under the orders of Lt. Col. W. F. Raynolds and Major C. B. Comstock of the Corps of Engineers as well as from local surveys done by Capt. J. N. Macomb, Capt. G. G. Meade, and Col. J. D. Graham of the Corps of Engineers. The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:400,000 and shows the eastern end of Lake Superior from Grand Island to White Fish Bay, Michigan. Land areas are shaded in various gray textures based upon existing land characteristics. Lake areas are shown in white. Distances are given in statute miles. Soundings for lake depths are given in feet and fathoms. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lighthouses are also shown along with notes for sailing directions, dangers and water level data. The chart was originally published in 1872, but a note indicates that aids to navigation have been corrected to January 1, 1880. An adhesive label in the upper left corner shows "Detroit, Mar. 5th, 1884, Presented to the Tug, Chas. E. Bird."

- One navigational chart entitled, "Head of Green Bay and Entrance to Fox River, Wisconsin." The area was "Surveyed in 1845 by Capt. W. G. Williams and Lieut. J. W. Gunnison, Corps Topl. Engrs. [Topographical Engineers] with corrections to date by Lieut. W. F. Raynolds, Corps Topl. Engrs. under the orders of Capt. J. N. Macomb, Corps Topographical Engineers, 1853." - One navigational chart entitled, "Chart of St. Clair Flats Showing the Positions of Light House & Beacon Now in Course of Erection and the Channel Excavated in 1857 & 1858," that was prepared under the direction of Capt. W. W. Whipple of the Corps of Engineers. The survey was drawn by James T. Baker in October, 1852. Another note at the far right side of the chart shows "Copy, Bureau of Topl. Engrs., Nov. 10th, 1858" and is signed "J. C. Woodruff, Capt, Topl. Engrs., Asst. to Bureau." The chart is drawn at a scale of 3:16,000 and shows the area at the outlet of the South Pass (South Channel) of the St. Clair River which flows into Lake St. Clair. The chart is drawn in black ink on slightly yellowed paper and shows shorelines, water depths in feet, several depth contour lines, navigational channels, a north arrow and magnetic north, St. Clair Lighthouse and Beacon, and channel spar buoys. Printed text in the upper right corner shows "Sen. Ex. Doc. No. 1 - Ho. Ex. Doc. No. 2, 2nd Sess., 35th Cong." Printed text in the lower right corner shows "C. B. Graham, Lith."

- One navigational chart entitled, "Manitou Passage, Lake Michigan." The chart was "Prepared from U. S. Surveys and first issued under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1902." It was later revised and "published under the direction of Lieut. Colonel Mason M. Patrick, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, in 1915." The chart was drawn at a scale of 1:30,000 and covers about 20 miles of the Manitou Passage just north of Glen Arbor, Michigan. The chart includes information such as soundings in feet, lake bottom characteristics, shoreline details, lighthouses, lines of latitude and longitude, and sailing directions. The chart was printed in black ink on white paper and was published by the U. S. Lake Survey Office. Land areas are colored pale yellow and shallow areas of the lake are colored light blue. The chart was "Issued January 12, 1916" with "Aids to navigation corrected from information received to April 16, 1920."
