Of Power Obama says her vast experience in Bosnia and her academic accomplishments make her a perfect person to represent the country in the U. N. Donilon jokes about finally seeing the sun. Rice thanks family and friends for their support and says she looks forward to the role. Power recalls coming to America as a nine-year-old Irish immigrant and thanks the President for the appointment.
