A bridge sits at the center of the float. On one side are five men in stereotypical Native American costumes; on the other are three men in stereotypical British colonial military costumes. Visible on the far right is a sign that reads "Wayne's Army in Possession." A police officer stands to the right of the float. In the background are onlookers and houses.

The float is mounted on streetcar truck and decorated with a rowboat that is carrying Cadillac, a priest, and three of his crew as they approach the shore. Two men, dressed as Indians, are standing at the shoreline. A sign at the right end of the float notes "Landing of Cadillac 1701." The parade is moving along a residential street and three wood-frame houses can be seen in the background, but the street name is not known. Several spectators can also be seen in the background. Handwriting on the verso notes "Landing of Cadillac, 1701."

- A sepia-toned photographic print of a parade float from the Cadillaqua celebration held the fourth week of July in 1912. According to a banner suspended from the float's rear, this float is entitled, "Landing of Fr. Cadillac." The float is decorated to look like a canoe floating atop waves. Within a man in a Cadillac costume stands at the bow gripping a blurred flag's pole while five men in stereotypical native American costume hold oars. The float is captured on a tree-lined street, and a porch is visible in the background on the far left. A spectator standing beneath a tree appears to have been scratched out to the float's left as well.

The words, "Greater Detroit, Industry, Commerce, and Science," can be seen on the float with "Detroit" spelled out in electric lights at the top. A sign at the right end of the float notes "20. Future City of the Straits." A man, woman, child, and policeman are standing to the right of the float. Handwriting on the verso notes "Prophetic Float - Greater Detroit in 2001."

The float consists of a wagon that is being drawn by two horses and has been decorated with two large art murals. (Presumably, there are similar murals on the opposite side.) There is an opening between the two murals where two men can be seen holding a chess board. Also, two men are standing at the front of the wagon to drive the horses. A sign at the top of the float notes "Vinton Company, Painters and Decorators." The parade is moving along a residential street and several houses and an apartment building are visible in the background. Three spectators are also visible in the distance behind the float.

Atop, a float decorated like clouds and bearing three light bulb-filled starbursts, are three flag-bearing women representing France, Britain, and the United States. At the front, behind a shield decorated with four fleurs-de-lis stands a woman wearing a similarly decorated gown, and a crown, and waving the flag of the Bourbon family. The woman representing Britain sits at the center, wearing a crown, and waving, presumably, a Blue Ensign British flag. A woman in a striped dress, wearing a crown and waving an American flag before an eagle-topped shield stands at the rear of the float. A small crowd of spectators are visible in the background behind the float. The parade is moving along a residential street with houses and trees in the background, but the street name is not known.

- Large black and white photographic print depicting a donkey-drawn cart draped in cloth with a stars-and-stripes pattern, filled with children, and shaded by a large umbrella, which took part in the parade held as part of Detroit's bicentennial celebration in 1901. A man in a hat and robe stands aside the donkey. The donkey wears a saddle blanket decorated with several indiscernible words. A pair of other adults and several other children, including some with bicycles, gather around the wagon, while more adults watch from the porches of two homes in the background.

The parade is moving along a residential street with houses and trees in the background, but the street name is not known. A wood pile is in the foreground. Not pictured is the person dressed as the Nain Rouge who attended this float, as described in The Bi-Centenary of The Founding of Detroit on page 44.

The float consists of a wagon that is decorated with an eagle and shield, two carved heads, floral garlands, and fleurs des lis. Six women, dressed in long white gowns and floral garlands, are seated in the wagon which is being drawn by four horses. The horses are covered with long white capes and garland, and each horse also wears a single feathery plume. Four men, dressed in colonial attire, are standing near the horses. A sign on the side of the wagon advertises "Freeman Delamater & Co." The parade is moving along a residential street and several houses are visible in the background, but the street name is not known.
