- One document entitled "Assignment Before Patent." It contains printed and handwritten text on white paper and transfers ownership of a patent from one party to another. In this case, "Elizabeth Kosicky of Detroit, of Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, am Administratrix of the Estate of William Kosicky, Late of Detroit," who assigning the rights in a "Rotary Ovens" invention to "John A. Richard, also of Detroit, Michigan," for one dollar. The document was signed by Elizabeth Kosicky and was dated January 17, 1907. An attachment at the top of the page has a red embossed seal and blue ribbon and indicates that the patent transfer was recorded by the office of the Commissioner of Patents as of February 13, 1907. The verso has printed and handwritten text that shows "Assignment Before Patent, Serial No. 357191, Elizabeth Kosicky Administratrix to John A. Richard, "Rotary Ovens" and "Return to E. S. Wheeler & Co., Solicitor of Patents, 93 Griswold St., Detroit, Mich." A blue ink stamp shows "U.S. Patent Office, Feb. 13, 1907, Recorded."
