- An unused real photo postcard showing President Theodore Roosevelt. Roosevelt rode with MAC President Jonathan Snyder and inventor Ransom E. Olds in a REO Motor Car down east Michigan Avenue to campus. Roosevelt is sitting in the back seat of the car with Snyder. Olds is driving the car. Beside Olds is William Loeb, Roosevelt's secretary. Roosevelt gave the commencement address at the 50th anniversary of MAC (Michigan State University) in East Lansing, Michigan. A streetcar is visible in the background. Added in ink to the blank right panel of the postcard is the text "When I had the pleasure of giving Theodore Roosevelt a ride in a Reo Car."

- Built in 1874 and used as a home for the university's presidents until 1915 when it became the Senior House for senior women. It later housed the College Hospital and was demolished in 1946. Gilchrist Hall was later built on its' site.
