Backus of Detroit, parties of the first part and Adolph Freund, Gustavus Kast, and Frederick Ruehle of Detroit, parties of the second part. The agreement is printed in black text on both sides of a bi-fold sheet of white paper. Blank lines have been completed in handwritten black text. The text indicated that the parties of the first part were leasing rooms in a building located at 185 Jefferson Avenue, to the parties of the second part for two years for a total amount of $2000.00. All parties have signed their names at the end of the lease agreement in the presence of two witnesses, "N. North Nay" and "Frank A. Gaylord."
