- Sepia-toned photograph depicting the manufacture of the Eagle Pattern Boat at the Ford Highland Park Factory, as viewed from a point above its stern facing forward. An attached gangway is visible along the boat's port side near the bottom edge of the frame. The pattern boat was disassembled and taken to the Ford River Rouge Factory where each piece was used as template for manufacturing other Eagle Boats. A total of 60 Eagle Boats were built. The boat has been dressed with its signal flags, and draped with banners. The towers of the launch elevator have also been draped with banners. Uniformed naval personnel stand on the boat's deck, and spectators watch from a walk way beside the elevator. "27539-8-15-19," is printed in the lower right corner of the recto.
