- One sheet, containing pages 19 and 20, from the August 10, 1889 supplement to Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper. Page 19 contains five etchings, representing "Progress in Therapeutics-The Great Establishment of Parke, Davis & Co., Detroit.- From sketches by C. Upham." The captions for the five etchings are as follows: 1. New York Office. 2. Gelatine Capsule Works. 3. Another New York Office. 4. General View of the Establishment. 5. General View of the Company's Office. Page 20 contains the continuation of an article, "Detroit, Michigan: Facts About a Busy City," from page 17 of the same Frank Leslie's Supplement. Page 20 features sections about "Hotel Wayne," "Griffin Car Wheel Company," and "Baugh Steam Forge Foundry." It also features four etchings representing the "Works of the Griffin Car Wheel Company, Detroit." The captions for the four etchings are as follows: 1. View of the Works. 2. General View of the Wheel Foundry. 3. Method of Handling the Molted Iron. 4. Depositing the Wheels in the Pits.

- One folio series entitled, "Detroit Illustrated," that was published in 14 parts by H. R. Page & Company of Chicago. This folio, Part Two, has a gray/green paper cover that is printed in brown text. There are four interior pages which include sepia-toned photographic images that are entitled as follows: Laboratory of Parke, Davis & Company Residence of Edward O. Voight Residence of C. A. Newcomb Slip at [Detroit] Waterworks Wayne Hotel.

- Color postcard depicting the Wayne Hotel from the corner of W Jefferson Avenue and 3st Street, with an American flag flying from the roof. Printed on verso: The Wayne Hotel is one of the favorite hotels in the city, located on Jefferson Avenue, corner of Third, directly across from the Michigan Central depot. It is on the river bank and from its windows a fine view of the river traffic is possible in the season. In the summer time a pavilion, built out to the water's edge, adds to the attractions of the hostelry which has been, for the past 20 years, under the management of J.R. Hayes. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 5, 1913.

- Ribbon-bound Christmas dinner menu from the Hotel Wayne. The menu's cover is printed with the message, "A Bright and Happy Christmas to you and Good Luck," beside an image of a clover, a candle, and a swastika, all contained in an embossed border surrounded by embossed bells, ribbons, and holly. An image of bells, and a wreath over a snowy landscape is printed on the first page. A program for a performance by The Straub Sister's Orchestra directed by Veronica Straub, and a menu consisting of oysters and clams, soups, relishes, entrees, roasts, potatoes, vegetables, salads, pastry, and dessert follow.

- Menu and program booklet from a Thanksgiving dinner served at the Wayne on Thursday, November 27, 1902. The menu is bound in a cream colored cardstock cover with white thread. A blackface caricature of a child rides on the back of a turkey holding an ear of corn hung from a stick in front of the bird on the cover. A list of pieces to be performed by Haug's Orchestra, as well as a list of the dishes to be served are contained within. "Very good. Give us More." is handwritten inside on the blank side of the inner leaf.
