- Mounted black and white photo of the aerial apparatuses of the Detroit Fire Department's Ladder Companies No.1 and No.3 being used to fight a fire at the Goldberg Brothers' department store on the west side of Woodward Avenue between Grand River and Clifford Street, as viewed from across the street to the northeast. Firefighters work amid broken windows and display cases along the base of the building. A large clearance banner and a "Store for rent" sign are posted on the Grinnell Brothers' Music House next door to Goldberg Brothers. Clough and Warren Company, Pianos; Wood's Ladies Haus; and the William B. Elliott Company are also posted along the block. Several bystanders are also in frame. The photo is mounted on black matte board, with a border relief around the image. "Fred G. Wright, Detroit, Mich. 115 Gratiot Ave. Phone MAIN 5488," is stamped on the verso. - Colorized halftone print of a photograph depicting the west side of Campus Martius, as viewed from an elevated position, likely from the Pontchartrain Hotel. The primary copy has bolder colors and is mounted on beige cardstock. The secondary copy has lighter colors, and includes the title, "'The Heart of Detroit' - Reproduced from Photograph," as well as the notation, " Jos. Mack, Printer, Detroit." Both versions include captions below labeling the Post Office, City Hall, Pardridge and Blackwell in the Majestic Building, the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Merrill Fountain, and the Opera House. A sign reading, "Welcome National Hay Association" is posted on the front of City Hall. The moonlight tower in front of City Hall on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue is visible. Electric streetcars, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians are on the streets below. "1902-1903" handwritten on lower right corner of secondary copy, and "Fine Cigars and Tobacco, Confectionary, Soft Drinks, and School Supplies, Etc., 528 Dix Ave. Detroit, Mich." stamped on its verso.

- Color postcard depicting the steamer PLEASURE docked at the foot of Woodward Avenue. A sign on the boat reads "Pleasure" and a sign on the dock reads "Moonlight To-Night, Steamer Columbia, 8:30 to 11:30, 35¢". In the foreground is a car and a person on a bicycle. Printed on verso: Belle Isle Pleasure Boat. A favorite method of access to Belle Isle, Detroit's principal pleasure ground, is by steamer, and boats leave regularly from convenient wharves, for the big pier at "The Island." The scene shows one of the large steamers of the Detroit Belle Isle and Windsor Ferry Co., leaving the foot of Woodward Avenue for Belle Isle, band playing and picknickers [sic] thronging the decks. - Sepia-toned photographic print depicting buildings and storefronts along Woodward Avenue. The camera was positioned just north of John R on the east side of Woodward, facing southwest. The Annis Fur Building, housing the Milton Corset Shop; Alex J. DeSaulier, a sewing professional; Stahl's Boot Shop; Albert W. Kludt, optician; the W.L. Douglas Shoe Company; the Ballantine Company Tailors; and Weyhing Brothers Manufacturing Company Jewelry, is on the northwest corner of Woodward and Clifford Street. To the south are the Woodward-Clifford Building, housing an S.S. Kresge Company Five and Ten Cent Store, and Kartsek's Cafeteria; the F.W. Woolworth Company Five and Ten Cent Store; Taylor's; Golden's; the Traugott Schmidt Building; a drug store; Central Lunch; George Yost, Furrier; and Fields Dresses. Pedestrians and automobiles are in the streets, traveling through the snow. The image is surrounded by a thick black border. "Woodward Ave & Clifford, 1916, Woolworth-Kresge Southwest corner, Douglas-Annis northwest corner" printed on verso along with "neg av."

Signs read "Queen Anne Soap", "Hotel Wilson", "Hats, Shirts", "Sanitol", and "Avenue Theatre, Vaudeville Extravaganza". Printed on verso: Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Mich. Woodward Avenue enjoys the unusual distinction of being both Detroit's leading business and residence street. It is named in honor of Judge Woodward, one of Detroit's foremost citizens in the pioneer days, and stretches approximately north and south. At its foot are the ferry docks where boats leave regularly for Windsor, Ont., Belle Isle and Bois Blanc Island. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 18, 1913.
