Many pedestrians are visible adjacent to the store on the sidewalk and in the street including men, women and children. Goods available for purchase are also noted around the storefront. A street car is approaching Woodward Avenue in the right corner foreground; a horse carriage is neighboring the sidewalk.

The view shows a grassy field, one tree, and several piles of earth and stone in the foreground. A multi-story brick power plant building with one large exhaust smokestack can be seen in the background. Several railroad cars can also be seen on each side of the building. The number, "129," is written in reverse in the lower left corner of the photo. Handwritten text on the verso shows "D129, Taken 1911, Delray Power House #2."
