- Sepia-toned photographic print of the eastern face of the Detroit Boat Club, as taken from the south east. The bridge leading to the club house, the feet of the club's docks on the eastern side of the building, and several small sailboats are visible. A portion of the Belle Isle Bridge is in the background of the left side of the photo, and the riverfront of Detroit is in the distance on the right.

- Photograph. A mounted sepia-toned gelatin silver print of a float that was part of the Floral Parade celebrating Detroit's bicentennial, held July 26, 1901. The float is mounted on a streetcar truck and decorated to depict a scene from Detroit's history. An illuminated sign on the float's front notes "Wayne's Army in Possession." Five men in colonial-era army costumes, bearing muskets, a bugle, and a drum, stand before a small mock-up of a battlement bearing a cannon and a flag pole. The British Union flag is draped on the tower, while an American flag is raised. Foliage both painted and real, composes the front of the float. A man in a police helmet is in the foreground at the lower left. The Detroit fire float is visible to the far left and the tree from the back of the Bloody Run float is on the right edge. The parade is moving along a residential street with houses and trees in the background, but the street name is unknown.

- Sepia-toned albumen photo of eleven firefighters of Ladder Company No.1 who are shown in front of the old Fire Department Headquarters building at Wayne (now Washington Blvd.) and Larned Streets. A newspaper article is glued to the mounting cardboard to the right of the photo and is entitled at the top, "Old Fire Department Building Being Razed." A label beneath the photo shows "The Old Makes Way For The New." Also a handwritten note in pencil in the lower right corner shows "Taken 1893, Ladder 1." Handwriting on the verso notes "No. 1 - Hook and Ladder Truck and Company. 3 Horse Team. This picture must be handled with care - belongs to Capt. of No. 1 and is prized of course. Return to Burns in A1 order." Another note shows "Right to Left: 1. Capt. McGraw, 2. Morrison, 3. Sullivan, 4. Creegan, 5. Obrien, 6. ---------, 7. C. Klein?, 8. Joe Clements, 9. Jack Alexander; Stub McCumber-driver." The fireman who is seated at the tiller at the rear of the ladder truck is not identified.

- Sepia-toned photograph depicting Eagle Boat No. 1, the first Eagle Boat launched, stationed on the launch elevator at the Ford Rouge Factory Complex, as taken off of its port quarter. Men stand upon the deck of the boat and atop the elevator towers. Spectators and workers are present. The caption, "Eagle is wheeled unto elevator," is printed on the verso. Lower right hand corner of photo has number and date of photo: 22632-7-11-18. Photo mounted on a linen backing.

- Sepia-toned glossy photo of a painting or drawing which shows the first Detroit Fire Department headquarters building. The picture shows a 3-story brick building with a watchtower. A horse-drawn ladder wagon is visible in the foreground. A signature in the lower left corner of the drawing shows "D. A. McCormick - Del., 1880." The estimated date of the photo is based upon the image depicted and is not based upon when the drawing was made or when the photo was taken.

- Mounted autographed sepia-toned bust portrait photograph of Charles B. King in profike wearing suit, round-collared shirt, tie, and glasses. The photo is signed by King with the enscription, "For Alfred O. Dunk 1920." A typewritten label caption on the matting reads "Charles B. King Built and Operated the First Automobile on the Streets of Detroit 1894 (Oliver E. Barthel was the first passenger)."

- Mounted sepia-toned photographic print of the canoeists on one of Belle Isle's lakes. A willow tree hangs over the left and top edges of the frame. Spectators sit on the shore beneath the tree, as well as beyond it. Men and women ride in the canoes, some of which are outfitted with parasols, or pillows. Detroit Boat Club burgees are painted on the sides of several of the canoes. In the distance an early automobile is visible on the road beside the lake. "Received, Aug 30 1906, Answered," is stamped on the verso of the matting.
