- Sepia-toned panoramic group portrait of members of the U.S. Army's 310th Engineers battalion--the "Polar Bears"--taken at Camp Pontanezen in Brest, France in July of 1919 during World War I. Five tiers of uniformed men pose along a wooden stand, with their regiment number and the location on a sign along its base. "Panoramic Photo Co., Washington D.C., Paris, France," is printed in the lower right corner.

- Mounted black and white panoramic image of the fire tug JAMES BATTLE being used to fight the fire which claimed the Belle Isle Bridge on April 27, 1915, created from two overlapping photos. Firefighters stand at the bow of the BATTLE, on the right side of the frame with its port side to the camera and the Detroit shore of the Detroit River, while smoke rises from the remaining trusses of the bridge on the right. Several bare columns, and another smoldering truss are visible further across the river in the background. The caption, "Burning of the Belle Isle Bridge, April 27, 1915," is printed along the bottom of the mat board.

- Print. Glossy 10" x 8" black and white photographic print of a group of 21 police officers, a young boy, and a baby posing in front of the First Precinct. The officers wear long jackets, and high, helmets with circular brims, with the exception of a man in the center wearing a kepi. The first row sits on the ground. The middle row are seated in chairs, and the back row stands. "First Precinct 1886" handwritten on verso.

- Black and white photograph taken overlooking work to convert building "B" of the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex from manufacture of Eagle Boats to that of automobiles. The strip at the center of the photo, in one of the inner aisles of the building, has been mostly filled with dirt, and regularly spaced wooden forms holding concrete slabs with lengths of rebar sticking out. Piles of wood and dirt run along the length of the strip. Workers have climb ladders up to the trusses that run between the building's columns. A worker is at the controls of the overhead crane in the adjacent aisle on the right. "26787-5-27-19," is printed in the lower right corner of the recto, and "Laying assembly-line track in 'B' bldg (27 May 1918)," is handwritten on the verso. The photo is mounted on a linen backing.

A single piece of plate near the bow, and a wooden brace running the length of the boat have been installed. Workers are on ladders and boards spanning the tops of the framing pieces. A large piece of plating leans against a column on the right.
