- Sepia-toned photograph of head and shoulders view of a Detroit fireman. The cap badge reads, "DFD 204," and the badge on his lapel reads, "Detroit 204." Noted at the base of the image is the photographer, "Friend & Smith, 244 & 246 Woodward Ave., Detroit." Written on verso, "Dick Brownell." Brownell was a ladderman with the Detroit Fire Department.

- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing a west facing view along the road surface of the Cross Street bridge over the Huron River. Handwritten text on the bottom edge shows "Ypsilanti, 4/14/19." The bridge has a sidewalk and decorative concrete railing. Houses and two church steeples are visible in the background.

- One sepia-toned photograph of the sidewheel passenger steamship, SS Seeandbee, being launched sideways at the Detroit Dry Dock Company. The photo shows a starboard side stern view of the hull as it slides off the ways and creates a large splash of water along the starboard side. Carpentry work for main deck cabin areas has been roughed in, but the upper decks and cabin structures have not yet been started. Many workmen are standing along the taffrail of the ship and a large crowd of onlookers can be seen on the dock in the foreground. A gantry crane trestle is visible in the background area of the shipyard. Also, a tugboat is standing by just beyond the bow of the newly-launched ship. Handwritten pencil text on the verso shows "Seeandbee launch Nov. 9, 1912."

- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing the top portion of a caisson that was used for the construction of a railroad bridge over the Rouge River. Printed text on the upper and lower edges of the photo shows "Caisson #2" and "Apr. 18, 1919." The view shows the top of the caisson including circular scaffolding, various pieces of equipment, piping, and reinforcing bars. One workman is standing inside the top of the caisson and another is standing above it on the railroad tracks.

- Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing a vehicle bridge over two railroad track lines. Handwritten text in the upper left corner shows "Ypsilanti O.H., Michigan Avenue, May 25, 1919." The photo shows the concrete bridge columns, deck, and tubular steel railings as well as the earth embankments on each side of the railroad tracks. It appears that there is a railroad bridge in the background which is running parallel to the vehicle bridge.

- Photograph. A mounted sepia-toned gelatin silver print of a float on an unidentified street that was part of the Floral Parade celebrating Detroit's bicentennial, held July 26, 1901. The float is mounted on streetcar trucks and decorated to depict a scene from Detroit's history. An illuminated sign at the right end of the float notes "Bloody Run." A bridge sits at the center of the float. On one side are five men in stereotypical Native American costumes; on the other are three men in stereotypical British colonial military costumes. Visible on the far right is a sign that reads "Wayne's Army in Possession." A police officer stands to the right of the float. In the background are onlookers and houses.
