- Photograph. Sepia-toned gelatin silver photo of a fire engine that was manufactured by Ahrens-Fox. A sign on the ground in front of the fire engine notes "The Ahrens-Fox Fire Engine Co., Cin., O." The photo is marked "No. 276" in the lower right corner and is mounted on black cardboard which has "Ahrens-Fox, Cincinnati, Ohio" shown in gold lettering along the bottom. An identification plate on the side of the fire engine below the driver's seat notes "The Continental 'Auto' Model A-C, Built 1913, No. 516, The Ahrens-Fox Fire Engine Co., Cincinnati, O." The side of the fire engine is marked "San Angelo." Also, this fire engine was right-hand drive since the steering wheel was located on the right side of the vehicle. Handwriting on the verso notes "855 Virginia St., Jackson, Michigan, Harvey H. Larrabee."

The view looks down on the top of the caisson and shows various pieces of equipment, piping, and scaffolding.

- Mounted sepia-toned group portrait photograph of the Commissioners of Parks and Boulevards (from left to right) Benjamin R. Hoyt, William Geist, Edward C. Van Leyen, William C. Maybury, Philip H.A. Balsley, and Myrtle P. Hurlbut posed standing beside a covered horse-drawn carriage on a road, with a portion of a large wooded park in the background. The men are identified by handwritten captions on the board to which the photo is mounted. "Between [...] 1898," is also handwritten on the backing. "Park Commissioners," is handwritten on the verso below a label for the Royal Photograph and Publishing Company, with a branch office at 152 Gratiot Avenue.

- Two sepia-toned albumen cabinet cards bearing portrait photographs of a fireman who is standing beside a small table. His hand is resting a small statue that is on the table. The fireman is wearing his uniform which includes a long, double-breasted coat, decorative belt, and cap. His belt has the letter, "T," on the buckle. On one copy his collar has been hand-colored in purple, and badge shows the handwritten number, "4," while the other copy has the handwritten number "2" on the coat matching the "2" on his hat's badge. Handwriting on the verso notes "Frank Walsh."
