Several crew members are on the flying bridge, below near the bow, and a lone man sits near the aft cabin. There are two piles of coal on the deck. A tree-lined shoreline is visible in the background. The image is captioned "1915."

- Photograph (1 positive print and 1 negative print). Sepia-toned photo showing one fireman seated at the steering wheel of a 1910 Packard rescue wagon. The wagon has the number, "30," shown on the side. Fireman's helmets as well as a folding canvas life-saving net are visible on the side of the wagon. Large wooden doors (possibly of a fire station) can be seen in the background of the photo. The number, "0488b,"is written in the lower right corner of the photo. The name of the photographer, "Spooner & Wells, Inc., 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich." is stamped in blue ink on the verso.
