- Sepia-toned photograph of workers beginning to plate the hull of Eagle Boat No. 44 within building "B" of the Ford River Rouge Factory Complex, as taken from above its starboard bow. Several plates have been installed near the boat's bow through the combined efforts of a group of workers on the boat's carriage and the overhead crane. Meanwhile another group of workers begins the construction of a keel for another Eagle Boat on the left. Yet another Eagle Boat is under construction in the background. Coat racks, shelves, and piles of materials are along the wall on the right. "#44 12:42 A.M. 25866-2-20-19," is printed in the lower left corner of the recto. The photo is mounted on a linen backing.
