It includes blast furnaces, open hearth and steel mill, glass plant, foundry, paper mill, cement plant, body plant, coke ovens, power plant and motor assembly plant where new Model A engines are built. Printed on verso: The Detroit Post Office occupies the site from which in 1796 frowned the bastions of old Fort Shelby. The present great stone building was first occupied in 1897. The United States paid $401,258.38 for the site, $1,078,741.62 for the building and $33,000 for the furnishings. The United States court room on one of the upper floors is one of the finest halls of justice in the United States. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 18, 1910.

- Second card of a six trade card set from the Michigan Stove Company advertising Garland Stoves and Ranges, entitled "Before & After Marriage In Five Acts," drawn by Cassius M. Coolidge and copyrighted by George M. Hayes. On the recto is an image of a man sitting in a chair and looking longingly at a picture of a woman he is holding in front of himself at eye level. In the lower left corner of the recto is an image of a woman in a pink blouse and tan skirt holding a book and reclining on a couch. The card's title, "I'm in Love," is printed in the bottom right corner of the recto. Printed on the verso is damaged advertising copy stating "To love is a very funny thing, it makes some laugh while others sing; Your feelings cannot be described, [...] thinking of your future bride. The return address of the Executive Office of the Mayor is printed in the upper left corner of the envelope.

The recto is printed with an image of a stork walking with a folded umbrella and basket under her wing, and a bonnet on her head. "J.L. Hudson, Clothier, Detroit Opera House Building," is printed along the top. The verso is printed with the text, "On or about April 1st we will remove to our new stores, 141, 143 &145 Woodward Ave. where we shall be pleased to receive our Friends and Customers. J.L. Hudson."

- "Number 10, Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. First Mortgage, 5 Per Cent, $5000 Registered Gold Bond" (10 of 30). The bond is printed in printed in red, green, and black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Broun-Green Beaver Bond." It has a decorative engraved green border with engraved images at the top that depict Lady Liberty and other figures that represent American industry and a bountiful harvest. Black, Old-English style text shows the company name, "Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co." and lists the terms of the bond issuance and repayment. The bond has been signed by "Harris T. Dunbar, President," and "Frederick C. Slee, Secretary," and is dated March 15, 1904. The 20-year bonds were due for repayment on March 15, 1924. A round, embossed company seal is located near the lower left corner of the bond. The verso contains blank spaces which have handwritten text that show the date and name in whom the bond was registered along with the signature of the company Treasurer. Other handwritten text and notes showed subsequent bond ownership reassignments with signatures.

Seventy-six men pose in two rows, the front group on their knees, before the side of a large stone police station. Most men wear jackets and ties, aside from the uniformed police officer, presumably an instructor, in the back center. An inserted portrait of another uniformed officer is above the center of the image. Two addition men pose in the window of the building behind them. The letter is typewritten in blue ink on white paper that is watermarked "Superfine Linen Record" and has a shield emblem. The letter is a response to a previous letter from Dunbar & Sullivan concerning issuance of stock shares in the Abbey Effervescent Salt Company. An attached carbon copy letter dated February 20, 1909, from Dunbar & Sullivan seeks to clarify the number of stock shares which they own in the salt company.

The booklet is bound in a grey cover featuring an illustration on the front credited to the Calvert Lithographing Company of a woman's boot wrapped in a ribbon and containing flowers. Lithographs of both storefronts are printed on the back cover. The first two pages of the booklet have been used as scrapbook pages for newspaper clippings about knitting and sewing.
