- Color postcard depicting canoes on a Belle Isle canal, with people along the shore and a bridge in the background. Printed on verso: Canal Scene, Belle Isle. Canoeing is the leading sport at Belle Isle, Detroit's largest play-ground. Its 702 acres are threaded by many miles of canals and lakes, affording an ideal spot in which the light little craft cruise about by thousands. Band concerts are given at the city's expense during the summer afternoons and evenings and on such occasions the canoeists are present in great numbers. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 22, 1909.

- One copyright registration, "No. 6343 I," dated May 25, 1878, issued by the "Library of Congress, Copyright Office, Washington." The registration form is printed in black text on white paper and includes blank lines that have been completed in handwritten black ink text. It indicates that a copyright was issued to the Richmond & Backus Company of Detroit for a "Book or Form" which is described in more specific detail in handwritten text. The registration form was signed in the lower right corner by "A. R. [Ainsworth Rand] Spofford, Librarian of Congress." An oval-shaped embossed seal of the Copyright Office is located in the upper left corner of the form.

- Packard Motor Car Co. advertisement. Printed in black ink on white paper. The advertisement shows an engraving of a right side profile view of a Packard Twin Six. Text underneath reads "Public Interest has assumed a new intensity wherever the Packard Twin-Six has been shown" and continues to advertise the Packard Twin Six automobile. The advertisement appeared in National Geographic; text at bottom reads "Mention the Geographic - It identifies you." Hand written text at bottom reads "Oct. '15." The opposite side of the page includes an advertisement for Sterling Company pianos.

- One drawing entitled "Crossection of Toledo, Ann Arbor & North Michigan Railroad Car Ferry Steamers No. 1 & No. 2." Additional text indicates that these ships were under construction at the Craig Ship Building Company Works in Toledo, Ohio, as of June 6, 1892. The drawing was prepared by George Craig at a scale of 1/2"=1 ft. It consists of black ink on linen and shows a cross section view of the wooden-hulled railroad car ferries. Handwritten text and a blue stamp in the lower right corner show "Str. No. 55 & 56, No. 4-1" and "New Drawing No. Tol. 55-S11-11-3, Tube No. 1."
